Problem:
Little by little we are losing our freedoms, rights and way of life. Critically, and in order of priority, our standard of living, the right to bear arms, freedom of speech, and the right to vote. The backdrop to this is the festering corruption in government. As a result, my kids will be worse off than I am. Significantly so if this plays out the way it tends to. I am incapable of standing by idle and providing subterranean shoulders for them to stand on whilst I stand on the shoulders of giants.
- Economy
Home ownership was a realistic, and relatively easily attainable goal not too long ago. Now, it’s a pipe-dream for far too many. Credit cards were for emergencies, now they’re for ordering some Taco Bell in four easy installments. Luggage and choosing your seat on your flight was free, now you’re better off suck starting a glock than getting on a commercial flight. Don’t get me started on health insurance, the right to repair, stagnation of income, inflation, the rich owning a larger and larger chunk of assets, and on and on and on. Everything is getting more expensive (and not just in a money kind of way), and you’re still making effectively the same amount of money.
- Guns
We used to be able to own literally any weapon out there. From muzzle loaded pistols to top tier warships. Now you can’t have an AR-15 in California. Trump made bumpstocks illegal (for a while). Biden pushed for an “assault weapons ban”. What happens when the next generation of whisper quiet, infinite range, dead accurate, etc. man portable microwave weapons comes out??? Lethal drones as stealthy as mosquitos??
- Speech
Speech has gone digital. Covid has proven well beyond a reasonable doubt that speech is being censored and the first amendment is pulling double duty as a doormat. Words are being changed (vaccine, woman/man, racism, UFO>UAP.. wtf?, etc. (~“SHELL SHOCK, almost sounds like the guns themselves”(George Carlin)). The mainstream media has an overwhelming bias and it was lock step in favor of Covid shots and shooting down any opposition. It’s all about hearts and minds, and they need your mind focused on your neighbor as the problem, not the actual problem; no, not the rich, but rather the rich who want to control you.
- Voting
It is literally impossible to confirm that your vote got counted and that it was counted towards the person/law/whatever that you voted for. Furthermore, voting is a simple thing, yet our process is ridiculously complicated and stuffed full of unnecessary security risks, proprietary software/hardware, and ballots that are riddled with hieroglyphs. On top of that, there are plenty of oddities with previous elections (not just talking 2020 ffs). Prime example: fucking DEAD people voting. HOW?!?!?!?!?? This is a kindergarten level process!!! We put a fucking man on the moon half a century ago yet we can’t figure out this shit??? Also, the whole system of selecting nominees is designed to screen out poor people and people with half a consciousness (not saying none ever get through, but it is far from the ideal).
Furthermore, capitalism and it’s intertwining with the government seems to be reaching some sort of peak corruption endgame. Disparity between the 1% and the rest is… less than ideal (maximum sarcasm). Capitalism, (and I’m about to write some heresy here but hear me out) much like communism, is fantastic on paper. However, you cannot put the human element on paper. Just like you cannot write an equation or a theory for Mao or Stalin, you cannot do the same for Pfizer or Bill Gates… or that Charles Schwab bastard. Capitalism is simply slower to reach similar end results. Our elected officials and money are one in the same (not to speak of the appointed officials). “Politicians are for sale and someone always makes the purchase, but you and I cannot afford it. Our democracy is worthless”(Tom MacDonald). See the studies done on correlation between politicians’ actions and corporate interests, interest group interests, and the peoples’ interests. Spoiler, there is exactly zero correlation between political action and the peoples’ interests. While capitalism is literally the single best thing we have, it is clearly, like all things, to be taken in moderation and it’s profits segregated from our public “servants”.
